Who are you?

Ekosystems is a new local tech services company that provides smart home, security and tech support solutions to homes and small business in Berkshire, UK.

We have one goal: to make your home or business affordably connected, smarter and safer and we are passionate about democratising that technology to improve day-to-day life.

What do you do?

We love technolgy. We love design. And we love making life easier for people.

We use free open-source software, low-cost hardware and a variety of prosumer products along with any existing tech you have in your home or business and we augment all of them to create a modern, sophisticated tailor-made smart environment to solve your daily problems.

How do you do it?

We use the free and popular open-source smart home software Home Assistant hosted on low-cost mini computers like the Raspberry Pi or Dell Mini PCs.

We also use a range of prosumer ("professional consumer") products that we have road-tested for years for reliability and functionality, like leak sensors, window and door sensors and alarms, security cameras, robot vacuum cleaners, smart lighting and much more.

What can all of this tech do for me?

Integration allows us to configure and create highly customisable smart home, home security or any other home tech products around your lifestyle.

A use case in your home

You may only have one or two specific needs - for example, you may have had a new high-pressure heating cylinder installed in your home that typically operate at 2 bar, whereas the pipework in your mid-1970s home was only designed for the original gravity-fed loft water tanks at amuch lower pressure and you may have started experiencing leaks.

This is the kind of situation where a leak detection system tied to an alarm and alerting to your smartphones and other devices would excel.
